The quiet revolution to improve access to youth mental health care

For decades, youth struggling with challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and suicidal thoughts have been met with waiting lists and emergency rooms ill-equipped to support complex mental health care. This results in less than one-third of youth getting the help they need.

That’s starting to change thanks to a new approach gaining ground across the country.
